JB: Tell me, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Gabih: I enjoy drawing and painting.
JB: You know how to draw and paint?
Gabih: Yes, I do.
JB: When did you learn how to do that?
Gabih: I learned back in high school.
JB: Oh, so you took an art class?
Gabih: Yeah, I loved that class.
JB: I see that you're pretty talented.
Gabih: Thank you very much.
JB: I wish I had a talent like that.
Gabih: I'm sure you have a talent. It's just hidden.

JB: What kinds of things do you like to do?
Luis: I've always liked to cook.
JB: I didn't know you knew how to cook.
Luis: I do it once in a while.
JB: How long have you known how to do that?
Luis: I first learned how to do it watching videos on youtube.
JB: Did you cook anything special for your family?
Luis: Yes, I did. They love my lasanha.
JB: You have got to be talented.
Luis: Thanks.
JB: If only I was talented to fry an egg.
Luis: You have a talent. You just don't know what it is yet.

L: Are there any hobbies you do?
G: When I have time, I sometimes write poems.
L: Oh, you actually do that?
G: Every so often, I do.
L: Did you always know how to write poems?
G: I was taught in high school how to write.
L: You had any inspiration?
G: Exactly, I love reading good books..
L: Well, it's good that you're so talented.
G: I appreciate that.
L: Talent is a great thing, I wish I had one.
G: Everyone has a talent. You just need to find yours.

G: No, I haven't.
M: I got a promotion at my job.
G: Did you really?
M: Seriously, I am so excited.
G: Well, congratulations my brother.
M: Thank you.
G: I'm so happy for you.
M: Really?
G: Yes. You really deserved this.
M: You think so?
G: Yes. Good for you.

G: Have you heard my good news?
M: You haven't told me anything yet.
G: I got a promotion at work earlier this week.
M: Is that right?
G: It's the truth. I am really happy.
M: Congratulations on your promotion.
G: Thank you very much.
M: I am really excited for you.
G: Are you really?
M: I'm serious. You deserved this promotion.
G: Is that what you really think?
M: Yes, I do.

M: Our mom offered the teacher a raise, and he took it.

G: I stayed home because I wasn't feeling well.

G: My stomach was bothering me.
