An invitation to do something

J: Hello, may I speak to Luis please?

L: This is he. How's it going?

J: I've been trying to call you all day.

L: Sorry about that. I was helping my siter to clean up.

J: It's okay.

L: So what were you calling me about?

J: Oh, I just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out tomorrow.

L: Sure, what did you want to do?

J: Maybe we can go see a movie or something.

L: That sounds like fun. Let's do it.

J: I'll see you tomorrow then.

L: See you then. Goodbye.

.................................................................................

J: Hi, how are you. Is Gabi there?

G: Speaking. What's up?

J: Why haven't you answered the phone?

G: My bad, I had chores to do.

J: That's all right.

G: What was the reason for your call?

J: I want to do something tomorrow with you.

G: Sounds good. What did you have in mind?

J: I was thinking about having some pizza.

G: Okay, let's have it.

J: Until then.

G: Talk to you later.

...............................................................................

 G: Is Luis available?

L: You're talking to him.

G: I've called you a hundred times today.

L: I was busy doing something. I apologize.

G: No problem.

L: Did you need something?

G: Do you want to do something tomorrow?

L: Is there somewhere special you wanted to go?

G: How about an amusement park?

L: Amusement park? Sounds good!

G: Call me tomorrow then.

The new Girl in school

M: Have you seen the new girl in school?

G: No, I haven't.

M: She's really pretty and smart as well.

G: Describe her to me.

M: She's not too tall.

G: Well, how tall is she?

M: She's about five feet even.

G: What does she look like, though?

M: She has pretty light brown eyes.

G: I may know which girl you're talking about.

M: So you have seen her around?

G: Yes, I have. She 's my neighbor.

.........................................................................

M: There's a new girl in my course, have you seen her yet?

G: I haven't seen her yet.

M: I think that she is very pretty and intelligent.

G: Tell me how she looks.

M: She's kind of short.

G: What height is she?

M: She's probably about five feet.

G: That's nice, but tell me what she looks like.

M: The first thing I noticed was her beautiful brown eyes.

G: I think I might've bumped into her before.

M: Are you telling me that you've seen her before?

G: I believe so.

...................................................................................

M: Have you met the new student?

G: No. Have you?

M: She's one of the prettiest girls at the school.

G: What does she look like?

M: Well, she's quite short.

G: How tall would you say that she is?

M: I would say she's only five feet.

G: What about her facial features?

M: She has light brown eyes, absolutely beautiful.

G: I think I know who you're talking about.

M: Have you seen her?

G: I think that I have her on my contact list.

Conversation - Going to the beach

G: I really want to go to the beach this weekend.

M: That sounds like fun. What's the weather going to be like?

G: I heard that it's going to be warm this weekend.

M: Is it going to be perfect beach weather?

G: I believe so.

M: Good. I hope it doesn't cool off this weekend.

G: I know. I really want to go to the beach.

M: But you know that Guarujá weather is really unpredictable.

G: You're right. One minute it's hot, and then the next minute it's cold.

M: I really wish the weather would just stay the same.

G: I do too. That way we can have our activities planned ahead of time.

M: Yeah, that would make things a lot easier.

....................................................................................

G: I would like to take a trip to the beach this weekend.

M: A trip to the beach would be fun. How is the weather going to be?

G: The forecast says that it will be warm on the weekend.

M: So do you think it'll be perfect weather for the beach?

G: It sounds like it will be.

M: I really hope it doesn't get cold.

G: That would ruin things, I want to go so badly.

M: The weather in Ipanema is unpredictable, so you never know.

G: That is true. The weather is constantly changing.

M: It would be nice if the weather would never change.

G: That would be great, then we could plan things sooner.

M: True. Predictable weather would make life easier.

........................................................................................

G: It would be nice to go to the beach sometime this weekend.

M: What's the weather going to be like? I may want to go too.

G: The weather this weekend is supposed to be warm.

M: Will it be good beach weather?

G: I think it will be.

M: It wouldn't be good if it got cold this weekend.

G: I want this trip to be perfect, I hope it stays warm.

M: This Copacabana weather is so uncertain, it's impossible to know what'll happen.

G: I know. Every day the weather seems different.

M: I would love it if it wasn't always so unpredictable.

G: That would make it easier for us to make plans.

M: I know. Things are easier when you know what the weather's going to be like.

Conversation - The weather

 M: It's such a nice day.

G: Yes, it is.

M: It looks like it may rain soon.

G: Yes, and I hope that it does.

M: Why is that?

G: I really love how rain clears the air.

M: Me too. It always smells so fresh after it rains.

G: Yes, but I love the night air after it rains.

M: Really? Why is it?

G: Because you can see the stars perfectly.

M: I really hope it rains today.

G: Yeah, me too.

...........................................................

M: Isn't it a nice day?

G: It really is.

M: It seems that it may rain today.

G: Hopefully it will.

M: How come?

G: I like how clear the sky gets after it rains.

M: I feel the same way. It smells so good after it rains.

G: I especially love the night air when it rains.

M: Really? Why?

G: The stars look so much closer after it rains.

M: I really want it to rain today.

G: Yeah, so do I.

......................................................................

 G: Don't you think it's nice out?

M: Yes, I think so too.

G: I think that it's going to rain.

M: I hope that it does rain.

G: You like the rain?

M: The sky looks so clean after it rains. I love it.

G: I understand. Rain does make it smell cleaner.

M: I love most how it is at night after it rains.

G: How come?

M: You can see the stars so much more clearly after it rains.

G: I would love for it to rain today.

M: I would too.
